This data describes people taking part in Costa Rica TecHub. It is not a sample of the country.
How this is calculated
If a figure cannot survive an explanation of how it was made, it should not be published.
Only people who agreed are counted
Everyone decides in their settings whether to appear in aggregate data. Turning it off removes them from every calculation on this page, and we say how many people did.
Only confirmed claims count
When the AI extracts a skill from a resume it stays a suggestion until the person accepts it. Unreviewed suggestions do not appear here: a national statistic assembled out of guesses is not a statistic.
Small groups are not published
No segment with fewer than 10 people is shown. When that would leave exactly one segment hidden, we hide the next-smallest too — with only one missing, anyone can work it out by subtraction.
Percentages are of the total, not of what is visible
When part of a chart is withheld, the remaining bars do not grow to fill the space. A percentage is always out of everyone counted.
Openings and programs are not people
The privacy threshold protects people. An opening or a program is a public document from an organization, so there we only leave out what would be noise.
